Tandava Krishnudu Story
The film begins with a millionaire who lives with his son, Ananda Rao, and daughter, Rajyalakshmi. Rajyalakshmi marries a malicious plebeian, Bhanu Murthy, who conspires with his brother, Ramachandra Murthy. Ananda Rao’s loyal aide, Dhananjay Rao, detects their schemes, so the brothers murder Ananda Rao and frame Dhananjay Rao with the help of their accomplice, Gurrala Gurunatham. Though Rajyalakshmi realizes the truth, Bhanu Murthy declares her insane and imprisons her in a mental asylum. Meanwhile, Dhananjay Rao’s wife, Parvati, humiliated by the false accusations, leaves with their two children. Years later, Vani, Ananda Rao’s daughter and heir to the estate, is targeted by the villains, who plan to marry her off to one of their sons: the vile Seshagiri or the noble-hearted Raja, who, in turn, loves Gurunatham’s daughter, Rani.
Meanwhile, Chakravarthy, a simpleton and newly appointed lecturer at Vani’s college, wins her heart, and they marry. Soon, it is revealed that Chakravarthy is actually the son of Dhananjay Rao, secretly plotting to expose the culprits. At the same time, Seshagiri has also deceived his sister, Seeta, whom Chakravarthy rescues and appoints as caretaker to Rajyalakshmi. Eventually, the villains uncover Chakravarthy’s identity and attempt to create rifts between him and Vani. In the climax, Chakravarthy, aided by Raja and Rani, defeats the villains, proves his father’s innocence, and even reforms Seshagiri. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of the entire family.
