Adarsavanthudu Story
Sridhar, an advocate and the son of wealthy retired Chief Justice Raja Shekaram, enjoys a carefree life after completing his LLB. On the way home, he meets Lakshmi, a spirited young woman who rebukes his arrogance, sparking his admiration. Back home, Sridhar takes up his first case but mistakenly proves an innocent girl to be a prostitute. The girl’s tragic suicide leaves him guilt-ridden, until his loyal driver Chiranjeevi consoles him and makes him realize the true meaning of justice. From then on, Sridhar resolves to stand for righteousness. Meanwhile, his tyrannical maternal uncle Dattudu, in collusion with his associate Lingaiah, fabricates a false case. Sridhar defends the truth and secures justice, enraging Dattudu, who later tries to kill him. In the attempt, Chiranjeevi sacrifices his life to save Sridhar, entrusting his family’s well-being to him. This conflict also forces Sridhar to oppose his father and leave his home.
Sridhar soon reaches Chiranjeevi’s village, ruled by the oppressive Lingaiah, and is shocked to discover that Lakshmi is Chiranjeevi’s sister. He merges with their family, but Lakshmi, still wary, blames him for her brother’s fate after learning fragments of the truth. Meanwhile, Lingaiah, with eyes on Lakshmi, pressures her father Raghavaiah into marrying her off to him to repay debts, which leads to Raghavaiah’s death. As Lingaiah’s atrocities escalate, he seizes villagers’ lands and prevents them from farming. Sridhar rises to their defense, and Lakshmi, seeing his virtue, eventually falls in love with him. In parallel, Dattudu mistakes Sridhar for a look-alike and conspires with Lingaiah to use him in a scheme to seize property. Aware of their plot, Sridhar plays along, outwits them, and brings their tyranny to an end. Finally, the movie concludes on a happy note with the marriage of Sridhar and Lakshmi.
