Anubandham Story
The film begins with Rajesh, the son of a multi-millionaire, who visits their estate with his best friends’ driver, Ranganna, and Dr. Gopal. There, Rajesh meets a tribal girl, Malli, and the two fall in love. With Gopal’s help, they secretly marry and live happily. After a few months, Malli becomes pregnant. When Rajesh’s father arrives at the estate, he becomes furious over their marriage and orders his henchmen to set Malli’s house on fire. Believing Malli dead, Rajesh is devastated. However, Malli survives and is sheltered by Ramanaiah but tragically dies after giving birth to a son. Later, Rajesh is forcibly married to Sujatha, the daughter of his father’s friend. Years pass, Rajesh and Sujatha remain childless, and Rajesh continues to live in Malli’s memories.
Satya Murthy, the son of Rajesh and Malli, grows up but struggles to hold any job due to his honesty. By fate, he becomes a servant in Rajesh’s household, where his charm and sincerity win Rajesh’s affection, sparking Sujatha’s jealousy. Meanwhile, Gopal discovers Satya Murthy’s true parentage but dies of a heart attack before revealing it. Satya Murthy falls in love with Gowri, Ranganna’s daughter, and Rajesh consents to their marriage. However, envious servants frame Satya Murthy for theft, and Rajesh angrily expels him. Soon after, Rajesh comes across Malli’s photograph and realizes Satya Murthy is his son. Overcome with guilt, he confesses the truth to Sujatha, who repents, and together they search for him. In despair, Satya Murthy attempts suicide but is saved by Rajesh. Finally, the family is joyfully reunited, and the film concludes with the marriage of Satya Murthy and Gowri.
