Collector Gari Abbai Story

Collector Rama Kantha Rao, a strict upholder of law and order, lives a harmonious life with his wife Lakshmi Devi, son Ravi, and daughter Jyothi. A rift arises between father and son as Ravi believes that occasionally bending the law is necessary to uphold justice. Meanwhile, the criminals Appa Rao and Eelimudrala Ellayah, along with their sons Kanna Rao and Chinna Rao, perpetrate heinous crimes. When Ellayah becomes a minister with Appa Rao’s support, he seeks to challenge the Collector, who continues to thwart their schemes. During this time, Ravi falls in love with Bharati, sister of his friend Satyam, a journalist whose father exposes the Minister’s corruption. After Satyam is murdered and the culprits are acquitted, Ravi clashes with his father but eventually quits to act independently.

Rama Kantha Rao pursues his own investigation to gather evidence against the criminals, while Ravi returns as a brave police officer to aid his father. Together, they expose the Minister and bring him to justice. Tragically, Jyothi dies in the crossfire, intensifying their resolve. In the climax, father and son unite fully to eliminate the villains. The movie concludes on a triumphant note, with the Collector acknowledging Ravi’s courage and commitment to justice.
