Justice Chakravarthy Story
Justice Chakravarthy, a staunch disciple of justice, lives happily with his wife Jayanthi and their three children—Kalyan, an advocate, Inspector Pavan Kumar, and Lakshmi. He dotes on his daughter and marries her off to a seemingly intelligent young man, Pratap. Soon, however, Pratap reveals his true colors as a hardened criminal who married Lakshmi only to shield himself from the law. When his henchman Ganganna is arrested, a case is filed, and Pratap pressures Chakravarthy to deliver a favorable judgment. Unwavering, Chakravarthy upholds justice and convicts the criminal. Enraged, Pratap murders Lakshmi and, with the help of the cunning lawyer Baroda Bachchan, escapes punishment. Circumstances then compel Chakravarthy to acquit Pratap, shattering his family and leading to Jayanthi’s death.
Haunted by grief and betrayal, Chakravarthy seeks vengeance, kills Pratap, and surrenders to the court. During the trial, Baroda Bachchan unexpectedly defends him, turning the case in his favor and proving him innocent. But Chakravarthy, tormented by guilt, declares that society needs advocates like Bachchan, yet his conscience refuses absolution. That night, he enters the court alone, acts as his own witness, prosecutes himself, and delivers the death sentence. In a tragic conclusion, Chakravarthy dies in the court hall, a martyr to his uncompromising devotion to justice.
