Manase Mandiram Story
The film begins at a hospital where Dr. Raghu dedicates his life to his medical profession and runs a cancer hospital. One day, Seeta, his ex-lover who was forcibly married to a kind man named Ramu, arrives at his hospital when her husband is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Raghu and Seeta feel uncomfortable facing each other in Ramu’s presence. Seeta suspects that Raghu may not treat Ramu properly because of their past relationship. However, Raghu assures her that he will do everything to cure Ramu. Meanwhile, Ramu overhears their conversation and later makes Seeta promise that she will marry Raghu if he dies.
Soon, Ramu is scheduled for a major surgery under Raghu’s care, which will decide his fate. Raghu, burdened with the fear that any failure would be seen as bias due to Seeta, pushes himself to the brink, working tirelessly without proper food or sleep. At last, the surgery is successful, and Ramu recovers, but tragically Raghu dies of hypertension caused by the immense stress. Finally, the movie ends with Ramu and Seeta constructing a memorial hospital in Raghu’s name to honor his sacrifice and dedication.
