Mayalamari Story
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom whose princess, Indumati, fell for the valiant Pratap. Indumati’s malicious maternal uncle, Bhaskar Varma, entices her and the domain. Meanwhile, the king decides to knit Indu with Pratap when enraged Bhaskar abducts her. Being cognizant of it, Pratap shields her, and they proceed toward a forest. Therein, Pratap tries to pluck a fruit that hoists him into the sky and lands at the cave of a sorceress, Mayalamari, who offers him to the Goddess. Next, she makes him alive and compels him to wed her, which he denies. So, Mayalamari forges herself as Indu. Here, judicious Pratap detects her and absconds. However, destiny makes him call on the original Indu in confusion. Distressed, Indu attempts suicide when a tribal leader, Gandara Ganda, safeguards her, which irks his lover, Kuranji.
At that point, Pratap acquaints Kuranji, and she silently escorts him to their hamlet. On the spot, combat arises between Pratap and Gandara Ganda, in which Pratap wins, and Gandara Ganda honorably hands over Indu to him. On their return, Bhaskar captures them and conquers the kingdom. Bhaskar then dictates the death penalty to Pratap and forcibly pursues wedlock with Indu. During that quicksand, Gandara Ganda and Kuranji aid them. At last, Pratap eliminates Bhaskar. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Pratap and Indumati.
