Adrushtavanthulu Story
The film begins with a notorious criminal, Raghu, who is released from jail under the belief that he has reformed, though Inspector Murthy insists that a criminal can never change. Challenging this notion, Raghu vows to prove him wrong. Soon after, Raghu’s old gangsters take him to their boss, who welcomes him back, but Raghu refuses, declaring his desire to live an honorable life. Angered, the boss warns him, but Raghu boldly confronts him. Still, the boss schemes to get Raghu back due to his exceptional skills. Seeking a fresh start, Raghu befriends a mechanic named Jackie and becomes a truck driver. During a journey, they encounter Jaya, disguised as a man. Raghu later discovers her secret and learns she fled from home, so he returns her to her family. There, he encounters his old associate Raju, from whom he rescues Jaya. The two fall in love, marry, and have a daughter, Baby. Raghu builds a happy life, but his past continues to haunt him, with both the boss and Inspector Murthy watching closely.
One day, Raghu quarrels with a moneylender named Dhana Ratnam. Seizing the chance, the boss murders Dhana Ratnam and frames Raghu, though he is eventually acquitted. The gang continues to create hardships, pushing Raghu to the brink. In desperation, Jaya takes up work as a club dancer for survival, which devastates Raghu. Determined to fight back, he approaches Inspector Murthy, pleading for a chance to prove his integrity. Murthy reluctantly agrees. Raghu then rejoins the gang, but the boss suspects his motives and forces him into a major crime: a dangerous train robbery to steal a confidential national document. Raghu outsmarts the gang, secures the document, but in retaliation, the boss kidnaps Baby. In the end, Raghu risks his life to save both Baby and the documents. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note, with society recognizing and accepting Raghu as a noble man.
