Paramanandayya Sishyulu Story
Once upon a time, a kingdom called Kalinga was ruled by Vijayasena, while his younger brother Prachandasena plotted maliciously to usurp the crown. One night, he attempted to slay the king, but a man in a veil shielded Vijayasena and shifted him to a safe place. Prachandasena then occupied the throne, leading to anarchy. The public fled to the forest with Chief Minister Paramanandayya, who, along with his disciples, built a hamlet. Meanwhile, wrestling competitions were held in the fort, where a gallant Chandrasena triumphed. Prachandasena recognized him as the son of an exiled traitor and apprehended him. Vijayasena’s daughter, Leela, grew fond of Chandrasena and covertly met him, for which she suffered torments from Prachandasena. Later, the man in the veil freed Chandrasena, and with Leela and Prachandasena’s daughter Hema, they escaped separately. Around this time, Vijayasena became terminally ill, and before dying, he approached Paramanandayya and revealed the existence of a hidden treasure.
Eventually, while searching for Leela, Chandrasena arrived at the hamlet and joined them. Amid a comic subplot, Paramanandayya’s disciples caused repeated blunders, forcing him to quit. Later, Chandrasena encountered Leela and Hema disguised as cowherds and revealed the truth to them. Determined to reclaim the kingdom, Paramanandayya tricked Prachandasena by informing him of the hidden treasure. Driven by greed, Prachandasena advanced with his troops, only to fall into a counterattack planned by Chandrasena and the disciples. At this crucial moment, the man in the veil appeared and stabbed Prachandasena, though he was also struck down. As a final revelation, Prachandasena exposed the veiled man as his son, Udeyasena. Finally, the film ends happily with the marriage and coronation of Chandrasena and Leela.
