Preminchi Choodu Story

The film begins in an estate owned by Buchabbai, who has two daughters, Kanchanamala and Ratnamala. During their studies, Kanchana falls in love with Srinivasa Rao (Vasu), the son of the wealthy Subba Rayudu. Meanwhile, Kanchana and Ratna constantly quarrel with Ranga Rao, their estate’s mischievous assistant manager. After they dismiss him, Ranga declares a strike outside their house, but soon he and Ratna fall for each other. In parallel, Buchabbai’s son Varahala Raju, passionate about theatre direction, frequently pesters his father and is in love with Meenakshi, the daughter of their manager Yedukondalu. Later, Ranga learns that Buchabbai plans wealthy alliances for his daughters. To outsmart him, Ranga disguises his friend—pretending to be Vasu’s tycoon father, Srinivasa Bhupathi—and tricks Buchabbai into requesting his marriage proposal, with the girls’ support.

Fate, however, makes Subba Rayudu and Buchabbai become close friends, and they decide to marry Kanchana to Vasu. Unfortunately, Ranga’s scheme is exposed, and both families file police complaints. Realizing the situation, Ranga devises a backup plan by disguising himself in dual roles. Soon, Buchabbai and Subba Rayudu regret their mistakes and attempt to reconcile, but by then Ranga and Vasu are already imprisoned. What follows is a series of comic twists and turns, filled with confusions and disguises. Finally, the story ends on a happy note, with Ranga and Vasu outwitting everyone and successfully marrying their respective love interests, much to Buchabbai’s surprise.
